Talk Show to discuss CIN “Danger on Your Plate” findings

TV PINK will bring together owners of restaurants where bacteria was found in food samples together with scientists and journalists.

A new edition of the TV PINK BH program “Forbidden Forum” on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 9:50 p.m., will take up the topic of food safety.

Program editor Aleksandar Hršum was prompted to select that topic by the investigation “Danger on your Plate” published by the Center for Investigative Reporting in Sarajevo (CIN) with the help of the Veterinary Faculty in Sarajevo.

The investigation included an experiment in which 95 food samples from three cities, Sarajevo, Banja Luka and Mostar, were collected and tested. The results were that half contained high levels of bacteria or dangerous kinds of bacteria.

Those findings will be dissected and discussed by experts from the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, restaurant owners where positive samples were found, and staffers from CIN and the Veterinary Faculty.
